Overview
Mobile apps have drastically changed the way I gather information, deeply influencing our daily habits. They've simplified and bettered the lives of people around the world. Likewise, restaurants are now designing their own applications to give customers easy access to important details like menus, hours of operation, and ways to get in touch. Furthermore, these apps come with booking functionalities, enhancing the ease of the dining experience for consumers.
The Objective
The objective behind developing the restaurant app is to craft an application that prioritizes user convenience and boasts intuitive navigation, facilitating instant connection with information on the diverse dining choices across the Family of Eateries. This app will allow users to effortlessly view menus, identify restaurant locations, book tables, and uncover essential details about the eateries within the Family of Eateries network. Furthermore, it will provide features that enable customers to check out the daily specials at each dining spot.
The creative process begins with brainstorming sessions, where I explore related ideas, keywords, and themes to spark fresh, innovative directions. From there, Let's move into visual discovery, experimenting with different shapes, color palettes, textures, and moods to establish the project’s visual tone. Once a clear direction emerges, I begin drafting multiple design concepts to see how those ideas come to life visually. This phase is all about exploration and refinement. Finally, I carefully select a color scheme, using principles of color psychology to ensure the palette communicates the right emotional tone and aligns with the brand’s identity.
The Deliverable
The final deliverables included a complete logo system with primary and secondary logo variations, a carefully selected color palette guided by color psychology, and typography recommendations that align with the brand’s tone. Additionally, supporting visual assets such as mockups and brand usage guidelines were provided to ensure consistency across digital and print applications. These assets empower the brand to maintain a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
